Denver Broncos running back Philip Lindsay injured his toe in the first half of the season opener. He can come back in the next game.
So could he and teammate running back Melvin Gordon (Melvin Gordon) play at the same time?
"I will hope to see this on the court for the rest of the season because it will make opponents lose sight of one another," Lindsay told reporters on Saturday. "This will make your opponents on pins and needles, because you don't know who will get the ball. It will create opportunities for both Mel and me. I hope there will be tactics where we both play at the same time in the remaining games. I am excited about this. I am back. After the game I think this can help Mel, and Mel can also help me."
Lindsay said that his state has been fully restored, and his absence gave him a new perspective on the game. He felt that he would become more patient and willing to learn.
Gordon completed 65 rushes this season for 281 yards and 3 touchdowns. If Lindsay and him can really play at the same time, the Broncos rushing offense will be more powerful.
