Ariana Grande-Butera is an American singer, songwriter and actor. She started her career on the 13th of the Broadway musical 2008, and later played Cat Valentine in the Nickelodeon TV series Victorious from 2010 to 2013, and split Sam & Cat from 2013 to 2014. Grande appeared in a musical for the first time on Victorious's soundtrack, and signed to Republic Records in 2011 after music executive Montelipman saw a song from one of her YouTube videos. Grande released her first album "Yours Truly" in 2013, which was influenced by 1990s R&B and "60s doo-wop", and reached its peak on the US Billboard 200. Grande is the first single to make the top five studio albums for the first time on the US charts. Her honors include three American Music Awards, three MTV European Music Awards, two MTV Video Music Awards and six Grammy Awards nominations.
