As the third product of GAC New Energy's Aion family, Aion V (parameter|inquiry) is positioned lower than Aion LX, but low positioning does not mean weak strength For example: the world's first 5G model, the first ADiGO 3.0 autopilot system, based on an all-aluminum pure electric platform, etc., and depending on the model configuration, they have NEDC battery life of 400km, 500km, 530km and 600km respectively. The editor today found a 70 PLUS smart-lead test drive car with a NEDC mileage of 530km and tested it in accordance with the latest EV AH-100 standard of the car home. Please go down for the performance of this car. Look.
★ Too long to watch the version:
① Under the test standard of Carhome EV AH-100, the NEDC Aion V 2020 70 PLUS Smart Leader Edition with a NEDC cruising range of 530km endurance in intercity high-speed working conditions (average speed 90.2km/h, actual power consumption 21.92kWh/100km ) Is 334km; urban low-speed working conditions endurance (average speed 28.9km/h, actual power consumption 17.06kWh/100km) 430km; comprehensive cruising range is 396km;
② 0-100km/h acceleration measured 8.19 seconds, 100-0km/h braking measured 40.95 meters;
③ What can be improved in the future: Common functions (driving mode switching, I-Pedal single-pedal mode) are integrated into the central control panel. If they can be made into physical buttons, they will be placed on the rear left side of the steering wheel or behind the handlebar. It is more convenient and more suitable for blind operation by the driver.
④ The overall sense of the chassis is strong, and the toughness is good. The suspension system's setting of “hard at the beginning/soft at the middle and rear” gives the driver a certain degree of control confidence, but it can’t resist overly intense control.
● Endurance test
Aion V is a pure electric model positioned as a compact SUV. The new car has a good NEDC range. It may not cause strong endurance anxiety to users when dealing with short- and medium-distance vehicles, but whether its true endurance ability Meet our expectations? The editor below will help you take a test.
For this test, we used the latest version of the Autohome EV AH-100 test standard, and adjusted some test details and results. If you want to know the details of the adjustment of the new test standard, please click here to read the article on the interpretation of the new test standard.
○ City endurance test under low speed conditions
This time we first conducted a test in a city with a lower average speed. First, charge the Aion V to 100%, and then perform three recharge operations. At this time, the dashboard shows that the battery life is 530km at full power.
During the city low-speed endurance test, we adjusted the driving mode to I-Pedal mode. In this mode, the power output will be limited for energy-saving considerations, and the speed limit function will be automatically limited to 130km/h, which is equivalent So a "ECO + high kinetic energy recovery" model. The reason for this setting is that the manufacturer’s engineers reported that this is the setting with the longest range of Aion V. You may wish to make a reference.
According to actual measurement, after 3 hours and 29 minutes of low-speed driving (including high-speed, circle-city, and congested road conditions), AionV traveled a total of 101km and maintained an average speed of 28.9km/h. The power consumption of the city under low-speed conditions was 17.06kWh/100km. According to calculations, the endurance of the vehicle under this operating condition is about 430km, which is 100km different from the official NEDC standard of 530km.
○ Intercity high-speed endurance test
Next is the inter-city high-speed endurance test. The preparations and vehicle settings before the test are the same as the previous low-speed test. According to the standards of the Autohome test, the endurance test conditions of the intercity high-speed working condition are to ensure an average speed of 90±2km/h, and the test should be stopped after driving at least 200km, and finally the endurance of the vehicle under the inter-city high-speed working condition is calculated. (Note: Since most of the charging piles on the highway are built by China Southern Power Grid, and China Southern Power Grid set the charging SOC value of the charging piles to 98% for the purpose of protecting the vehicle’s power battery. 98% will no longer be able to recharge)
Finally, after 2 hours and 23 minutes, we drove 215km with an average speed of 90.2km/h. At the end, the system showed that the remaining power was 41% and the remaining cruising range was 216km. By using the China Southern Power Grid's 120kW fast charging pile to supplement the electricity, the final charge is 47.13kWh, and the energy consumption of the car under high-speed conditions is calculated to be 21.92kWh/100km. According to its 73.3kWh battery capacity, the intercity The high-speed endurance test result is 334km.
In the charging rate test, we used the China Southern Power Grid 120kW charging pile to recharge the vehicle. First, let’s take a look at the charging time of the vehicle in the fast charging mode: when the power is low, the charging power is initially stable at about 40~50kW. To 80-85%, after entering the trickle charge, the charging power drops to about 20kW. From the charging strategy point of view, this is a protection for the battery; and the charging rate of 30-80% is about 52 minutes.
Finally, combined with the endurance performance of Aion V in urban low-speed conditions and inter-city high-speed conditions, the author believes that commuting in urban areas is where Aion V is best; if you need to run long distances frequently in your life, buy this Trolleys are more troublesome than gasoline vehicles, because their high-speed endurance will be discounted by about 40% on the NEDC cruising range, regardless of the true cruising range under high-speed conditions or the fast charging time (30%-80%). There is a lot of room for improvement.
