How do you think about Taiwan media's claim that "Taobao Taiwan will end operations at the end of the year and begin to suspend accepting new orders and other functions"?

Alibaba responded that Taobao Taiwan will stop operations

[Responding to Taobao Taiwan’s suspension of operations, Alibaba said: Respect Celada’s decision and will continue to serve Taiwan consumers through mobile Taobao]

Taobao Taiwan issued an announcement today (15th), stating that from 11 o'clock today, the front desk functions such as order placement on Taobao Taiwan platform will be closed successively, and operations will cease at the end of the year. In response to this, Alibaba said in response to related inquiries from Global Times-Global.com on the afternoon of the 15th: We respect the decision of Crea Investment Co., Ltd. and have no comment. Alibaba Group's business operations in the Taiwan market are business as usual, and we will continue to serve consumers in the Taiwan market through mobile Taobao and purchase high-quality products.

Taiwan’s "United Daily News" quoted a company statement on October 15 as reporting that Taobao Taiwan decided to end operations at midnight on December 31 and will suspend functions including accepting new orders from Thursday.
