 According to a report from Kyodo News on October 23, the Japanese Land Self-Defense Force’s Outlying Island Defense Special Force "Amphibious Mobile Corps" carried out the loading of amphibious armored vehicles to the docked sea transport ship at the Maritime Self-Defense Force Sasebo Base (Sasebo City, Nagasaki Prefecture) on the 22nd. "AAV-7" and equipment training. The Japanese side will conduct joint exercises with the US military in Kyushu and Okinawa in late October. The training aims to confirm the steps in advance.

According to reports, about 800 people from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and the Maritime Self-Defense Force participated in the training. The training envisages "recapture the outlying islands", and the amphibious mobile team members will successively load and transport a total of 50 AAV-7s and small boats to the sea transport ship "Kuodong". On the 21st, the same training was carried out on another transport ship from the sea.



The person in charge of the Land Self-Defense Force Amphibious Regiment said: "I hope to realize mutual understanding and communication with Haizi, so as to improve the comprehensive tactical application ability."
