Russian armored vehicles broke through the wall and entered the airport

According to the news published on social media by the Russian media Baza, the airport wall was hit by an armored vehicle on October 20, when the armored vehicle was on its way to the training ground to participate in the exercise. Baza also reported that the airport continued to operate normally after the BMP-3 tank smashed through the airport wall, but the armored vehicle damaged part of the airport’s security system.

According to the report, this video appeared to be taken by a security camera at the airport. Whether the driver was drunk or not, it was obvious that he made such a move after careful consideration. The BMP-3 armored vehicle weighs about 20.5 tons. After making contact with the fence, the driver did not seem to want to stop.
